SCOTT, Donna Marie – Passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family, at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, August 9, 2010 at the age of 69 years. Cherished mother of Heather Forbes and Kelly Scott and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Breanne and Bradley Forbes. Dear sister of Roger Battler (Marjorie) and sister-in-law of June Battler. Cherished aunt of Terri Battler, Gwen Battler (Gary Zwygers), Jeff Battler (Cindy), and Tracy Phillips (Stephen). Loving great-aunt of Brady Phillips and Jaimee Battler. Donna is fondly remembered by her dear long-time friend, Barbara Thomas. She will be missed by her church family at Stanley Park Community Church, where she was a member for over 40 years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Ross and Florence Battler, and by her brother, Garry Battler.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service in celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at Stanley Park Community Church, 9 Dreger Ave., Kitchener. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre.
