Dear Doreen and the lads

Please accept our deepest sympathies in the passing of Uncle Doug. Mom has kept me posted and I know that he is at peace and in a far better place. I have lots of great memories with Doug. Taking him and Uncle Stu to Rideau Carleton for the races, and the weekend at the cottage were among the hi lites. Had a lot of laughs with Doug. He truly was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. He will be dearly missed. Know that we are all thinking of you.

He was a great person, with the biggest heart of anyone we've known.  He's at peace now and no doubt will have everyone around him smiling in heaven.
