Gisela Anna Maria Froning Nabbe

Passed away peacefully at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo on Thursday December 2, 2010, age 78 years. Gisela was born in Germany where she taught Kindergarten. She had immigrated to Canada in 1961.

Gisela was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church Kitchener and was retired from Ingo Knitwear after many years of service.

Loving wife of the late Paul Nabbe (2008).

Beloved mother of Elmar of Campbell River B.C., Rita (Andy Andriotis), Norbert (Jessica Putnam), and Annette (Tim Forler), all of Kitchener/Waterloo.

Dear Oma to Joshua, Daniel, Madelaine, Ella, Ebban, and Timothy.

Sister of Winfried (Ursula) and Edeltrud (Klemens) all of Germany.

Predeceased by her parents, Elisabeth and Franz Froning; son, Ludger in infancy; brother, Juergen and a sister, Elisabeth.

Mrs. Nabbe’s family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, (51 Benton at Church St.) Kitchener on Monday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. (prayers at 4:00pm). Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Tuesday December 7th, 2010 at 9:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s R.C. Church (56 Duke St. W., Kitchener) at 10:00am. Rev. Martin Mikulski S.A.C. as celebrant.

Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
