Passed away at Pine Haven Nursing Home on Saturday, March 29 at the age of 86. Loving wife of Paun Pentsa (2012). Dear mother of Eleonora Radu (John), Nicolas Pentsa and Paul Pentsa (Jan). Beloved grandmother of Christian Radu (Mary). Iconia will be missed by her great-grandchildren Zachary and Sofia Radu and by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home (51 Benton at Church St. Kitchener) on Tuesday, April 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Panachyda at 7 p.m.). A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church (2150 Bleams Rd. Kitchener) with Father John Maerean officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
