Mrs. Katarina Karnafel Gelata

Joining her beloved husband John (1983). Loving mother of Alfonse (Jean), John (Pat), Louis (Kathy), Gerry (Marilyn), Rose Divo (Dennis Newby), Jerry (Cindy) and Debbie (Mike) Brydges. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by step-brother Andy Karnafel and step-sister Terry Enns. Predeceased by her son Mike, brother Stefan Karnafel, sister Margaret Chongva, step-sister Anne Tanguay and step-brother Joe Karnafel.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home & Chapel (519-742-4481) 51 Benton St., Kitchener on Tuesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. Morning prayers will be offered from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church (Midland Dr., Kitchener) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with Father Earl Talbot as celebrant. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
