Kim My love I can't believe it has been a year it feels like yesterday. I miss you so very much. 
 When we met in 2007 we fell in love and were inseparable and getting the same mushy cards for each other time after time that was unbelievable. You were so romantic and loving to me.
  We put 50 years into 5 years, looking after a sick parent having children come back to the nest and live, having grandchildren come into our lives, kids graduating, kids getting married trouble teen. We have been on a boat, horse, plane, and bike and kissed under the moon; Teaching grandkids to fish untangling lines time after time, and stepping in to coach when the coach didn't show up. Going camping and portaging;   and having each other at the end of the day to hold and love. I miss your beautiful smile and laughter looking into your beautiful blue eyes and at times I can here you say Hi Babes. I miss you so much. 
 you did tell me over and over you were not going anywhere until you  marry me.
 I can still feel you kiss me after we were joined in a hand fasting marriage and than you  passed not even 3 hours later.. Oh Kim I miss and love you so much xoxoxox

I know Kim was the kind of a man who stands by you when you need him - a true friend.  He was strong, gentle, kind and reliable.  His sense of humour and positive attitude were inspiring and contagious.  He was a success by all the measures that really count -- intelligent, loving, appreciative, helpful.   He left the world better than he found it.  Those around him could breath easier because he lived. He made my sister Rachelle happy.

I know his death will be a heavy burden to bear, but I am so very grateful for having had the opportunity to know him.
