Marie Catherine Cameron

CAMERON, Marie (Buswell) – Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on December 29, 2012 at the age of 90. Marie, beloved wife of the late Lorne Courtney Cameron for 63 years. Dear mother of Doug (Cathy) of Kitchener and the late John Cameron (Ann). Special Grandma of Melanie and Sarah. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Gladys Buswell of Centralia, her brothers-in-law Eugene Cameron (Doris) of Guelph, Glen McConnell of Kincardine and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Homer and Agnes Buswell of Centralia, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Hugh A. and Bertha Cameron of Kincardine, her sister Hazel Buswell and her husband Elmore Dunn, her brothers Aubrey (in infancy), Allen and Melville Buswell, sister-in-law Isabel McConnell of Kincardine. Marie was employed for many years at Electrohome Limited and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Visitation will be at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 10 am to 12:30 pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12:30 pm. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. A reception will follow interment in the Ratz Bechtel Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital, the ICU at Grand River Hospital or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the funeral home at 519-745-9495.
