Mrs. Marioara Mia Pasui Burghelea

Peacefully at Grand River Health Centre on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the age of 65. Loving wife to Constantin for 45 years.

Cherished mother to Mihaiela Bindon (Scott), Gabriela Balean (Cristian), Estera Achim (Ioan), and adoring grandmother to Alexandra, Ethan, Joshua, Jordan, Caleb, Zachary and Elizabeth. Affectionately remembered by her brother John Pausi and his wife Lidia. Mia will be greatly missed by her church family from the First Romanian Baptist Church.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 starting at 11am with Rev. Daniel Purza officiating. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the First Romanian Baptist Church – Radio Program would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519-742-4481. Special thanks go out to all the doctors and nurses at the Grand River Cancer Centre, the palliative care team at Grand River Hospital as well the nurses with Community Care Access Centre for helping to make Mia’s last days meaningful and comfortable.
