Mr. Norman "Doug" Douglas Snell

With profound sadness the Family announces the passing of Doug Snell, at Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Maryhill on Saturday July 3, 2010 in his 80th year. Devoted and dearly loved husband to Ellen (nee Wilkie), and cherished father to Robert (Lilian), Wellesley; Betty Stevenson (Bob), Lisbon; Marjorie Faulk (Tony), Norman (Sandy), William, and Randy Snell all of Kitchener. Respected grandpa to Michael, Jessica, Jason, Mark, Matthew, Amber, Laurie and Lisa, and great grandpa to Brett, Elizabeth, Eric, Gavin and Tyler. Doug will forever be remembered by his sisters Isabel Noseworthy, Bramalea and Edna Leschynshn (Peter) Orangeville and by his brothers John (Ruth), Egmondville and Joseph (Ruth) Orangeville. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Marjorie Snell (nee Bradley) and sister Marie Brown.

The Snell Family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of the life of Doug Snell will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.
