I am still at a loss to put into words just how shocked I was to learn of Raissa's passing.  I can only hope that her kind, gentle spirit is at peace now, watching over us all from heaven. Raissa, you were like an angel here on earth and I am comforted only by believing that God must have wanted you back in heaven with Him...

Raissa was a joy to be around. She was kind, loving and fun and I always looked forward to Ukrainian school, because we got to hang out. She will be missed greatly.

I really enjoyed Italian class in high school because she sat next to me, she was an awesome person to sit next to. She helped me catch up if I missed a class, and was there to listen.
