Richard Rick Allison Thompson

With heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected passing of a dear husband and father at his home on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 54 years of age. Cherished husband to Elaine (nee Deadman), Kitchener, and father to Jeffrey (Jillian), Kitchener, formerly stepfather to Sarah Moreau, (Phil), Niagara Falls. Sadly missed by his siblings Donna Brewster (Dave Starr), Owen Sound, Bill Thompson (Connie), Wasaga Beach, Tom Thompson, Hamilton and their families. Loving uncle to Jason, Torrie, Ryan, Derek, Wanda and Debbie, predeceased by his parents Ted and Lenore Thompson.

Visitation will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West on Friday December 16, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to celebrate Rick’s life will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 355 Gage St, Kitchener on Saturday December 17, 2011 2 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made either to the Canadian Addison Society or the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
