Ronald Hoy

Ronald Hoy aged 81 years.

Ronald had owned and operated Ron Hoy Electric-Waterloo, retiring in 1988 and was a member of the Ontario Electric League.

Loving father to Melanie and her husband Robert Lobsinger of Heidelberg, Wendy Strub and her husband Peter Chandler of Waterloo, Robert and his wife Bonita of Victoria BC, Ronald and his wife Danuta Liwerska, Donald and Karen, Barbara and her husband Bill Rapson, Laura Hoy and her husband Dave Prokopowicz all of Kitchener, cherished grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brother to Charlotte and her husband Jim Lulfs of Ohio, Faith Lomax of Florida and Doris and her husband Doug Boehmer of Cambridge.

Predeceased by his parents Charles Hoy and Minnie Bayliss, his wife Mabel Thomas in 1993, brothers, Ben and George Buller, Bill, Charles and Harry Hoy and sister Margaret Sommers.

Family and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9.

There will be a celebration of Ron’s life and his gracious and kind spirit on Monday in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery and donations to the K-W Alzheimer’s Society may be made as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
