At the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Care Centre, on Saturday, May 5, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Vergie Catherine Ayers, aged 74 years. Loving mother to George and Sharon and her husband John Horvath all of Kitchener and Catherine and her husband Sydney Mason of Innisfil, Ontario, beloved nana to Jessica, Jacqueline, April and Pamela and great grandmother to Katelyn. Predeceased by her husband Walter in 1985. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Committal Service will be held on Saturday at the Stayner Union Cemetery, and donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross through the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 519-745-9495
