ALBERT E. PALMER, JR. age 66, formerly of Cape Coral, FL, passed away April 1, 2013 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a member of Friendship Community Church in Ft. Myers, FL. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of Arts and he worked for the Lee County Sheriff’s Dept. for 23 years, retiring in 2010. For 20 plus years he was a member of the Stroke Survivors Group in Cape Coral, FL. Everyone loved Albert for his wonderful since of humor and he was an avid Notre Dame fan. He was also proud to be an organ donor. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Palmer; daughters, Kimberly and Susan; grandchildren, Stephen and Zoe; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Randy Butz of Cape Coral, FL.
