Her loving husband, Louis was at her bedside when she passed peacefully and he recorded these precious words:
"As I held your hand I desperately wanted you to stay
but the pain in your eyes beckoned me to let you go.
I'll carry your love for always.
This emotional ache and mental anguish coursing through this aged body shall be purposely replaced by the memories we created and stumbled upon. I'll carry your love for always.
Stories of our adventures will be treasured in the minds of our legacies. Our footprints are in states, countries, oceans and ponds. I'll carry your love always.
As I weep, I will also smile because you are forever with me.
Your scent, the absence of eloquence, your slight frown is
embedded in everything you've ever touched or been around.
I will carry your love for always."
