Mrs. Alice I. Long went to her be with her Lord and Savior peacefully in her home on Sunday surrounded by her loved ones. Alice was a devout Christian, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was a member of Pratt’s Chapel Baptist Church and attended services until her health no longer allowed. Alice was the cornerstone of her family. She lightened every day with her smile and love. She always reminded her family that the morning will brighten the darkness. Alice faced her fate at home with courage and love. She welcomed every visitor and left them with a warm embrace and tender goodbye.
