WILSON, IRENE (Granny), 95 of Knoxville, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Sam and Clara Pickel; husband, Henry Wilson; son, Charles Wilson; granddaughter, Susan Haun, great-granddaughter, Madison Wilson; sister, Evelyn Craig; brothers, Alford, Wesley, Harvey, and Ernest Pickel. Survived by grandsons, Charles (Diane) Wilson, Russell Wilson; granddaughters, Stacy (Randall) Veal, Janet Wilson; sisters and brother-in-law, Muriel and Ray Cooper, Lucile Dutton, Fleta Pickel; daughter-in-law, Myrtle Wilson; 6 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 5-7:00 p.m. at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home.
