Alinda L. Allen, affectionately known as “Granny” passed away at her home Saturday, Octobert 14, at the age of 91. She worked for over 25 years for the University of Tennessee and was a member of the Murphy Builders Sunday school class at Church Street United Methodist Church. She is survived by her three children, daughters Patricia Sines (Tom), Deborah Guigou (Henry) and son William Allen (Ann). She also leaves her grandchildren, Jamie Kaltenbach, Tom Sines, Lauren Guigou and Will Guigou. Four great grandchildren who knew her best as Super Granny. She was a devoted and loving mother who will be sorely missed. Services will be held Thursday October 19, at 2:00 pm at Highland Memorial Cemetery, graveside. Reverend Matthew Hampton will officiate.
