Allen Buz Herbert Carroll Jr.

Allen Herbert Carroll Jr. (Buz) 59, May 4, 2011. He is now in our Savior's loving arms. Buz was born July 2, 1951 - and spent most of his youth in Knoxville, TN. He was a 1969 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. And played football previously at West High School. Buz loved UT sports, particularly the football Vols. He enjoyed the outdoors especially the mountains and the beach. In earlier days, many weekends found him picnicking, boating, water skiing or golfing with family. He was of the Baptist faith. Buz was a car enthusiast and over the years fixed up and sold many cars. He was a fun-loving person. Family dinners in the Carroll family were special; with his absence, those dinners will never be quite the same. Buz's family was very important to him...he loved them very much as they did him. He is preceded in death by his father Allen H Carroll Sr.

He is Survived by his mother, Joann Carroll Affel, Knoxville, his sons, Allen Henderson Carroll & (Rebecca) Knoxville, and Brian Edward Carroll & (Samantha) Knoxville, two granddaughters, Rachael Anne Carroll, Channing Brynne Carroll, and a great-grandson, Zimarion Alexander Carroll. Brothers Tim H. Carroll & (Lisa), and Allen “Pounder” Carroll, Bob Affel &(Sue), Sisters, Lisa Carroll Walker & (Wayne), Jenny Carroll Adams & (William). Brooke Alane Carroll Concord NC. Susan Affel, Nieces April Metcalf & Eddie OIB,NC. Leslie J.Cook, Nephews, Ryan Burris, Andrew Burris, Cyle Burris NC, and 2 great nephews Jared Martin Metcalf, Chase Jacob Metcalf. NC. Many loved aunts, uncles, cousins & friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, May 6th at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev.
