He is survived by his wife, Connie Culpepper; sons, Michael Culpepper, Danny (Amber) Cox, Sammy (Amanda) Cox, Kenny (Laura) Cox; grandchildren, Krista and Karden Wilson, Lily, Grady, Cicily, and Carolina Cox; brothers, Kelly Culpepper, Guy (Patty) Tunnell, Bobby (Karren) Lipescomb; nephew, Patrick (Ashley) Culpepper; nieces, Geogeanne, Sarah Culpepper.
Family and friends will gather to honor the life and legacy of Al on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 2:00pm, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, with Pastor Bob Province to officiate the service.
