Andrew R. Rutherford, Jr. age 93 passed away July 1, 2021. He was born October 3, 1927 to Andrew Rutherford, Sr. and Ethel Mae Smith Rutherford. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles A. (Marjorie) Rutherford; sister, Geneva Wilburn (Clarence); first wife, Annalee Everett Rutherford and second wife, Ann Rutherford. He was a member of Outreach Baptist Church and a former member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He loved gospel music and lead the choir at both churches. He attended Knoxville High School and University of Tennessee. He is survived by his son, Kristopher 'Frank' Rutherford and sister, Ruby Rutherford Jennings. Family will receive friends Tuesday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with the service to follow. Pastor Rick Lemons and Pastor Jonathan Tharpe presiding.
