Angel Jesus Sanjuan Diego, beloved infant son of Angelina Diego Matias and Jesus Sanjuan Godinez, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, following a courageous battle. He was born on August 5, 2026, and was 28 days old.
Although his time on earth was far too brief, Angel Jesus touched the hearts of those who loved him. In his short life, he showed a strength and courage that will never be forgotten. His precious memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Angel Jesus is survived by his loving mother, Angelina Diego Matias, and his loving father, Jesus Sanjuan Godinez.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920. Following the visitation, the family will go in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918, where a graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Father John Arthur Orr officiating.
