
Angela Charlene Parker was born Jan 1, 1956 in Chickasaw Alabama. She was the first born of a set of twin girls belonging to parents Jessie Wilburn Parker and Janice Eldoria Parker. She was the first baby born in Alabama in 1956 and she and her twin were winners of the 1956 “Baby Derby”. She attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama where she graduated President’s Scholar and Cum Laude with a degree in Accounting. She practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in Texas, Alabama, and in Tennessee with the Harvey Association. She was a member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs. Angela specialized in construction, mechanical and real estate accounting . She had a minor in computer science and she excelled in computer systems and databases. Angie loved nature and chose East Tennessee as her home because of its abundance . She loved animals and always had several fur babies . She had a kind and generous heart and a strong will and determination that always made an impression on those who met her.
Angela ascended to her heavenly forever home on October 13,2023 and will be greatly missed by her twin sister Jacqueline Brackett of Semmes, Alabama; brother Edward Parker of Newnan, Georgia; former spouse and partner John Kirk of Sevierville, and nieces, nephews who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Father and beloved sister Janis Parker Jones.
