Ann Weaver Jones

Ann Frances Weaver Jones, 68, of Knoxville died peacefully at UT Medical Center Sunday morning, October 15, 2017. Mrs. Jones was born in Chattanooga on June 7, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and Paul Weaver. Ann was a member of Basswood Church, she was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. Mrs. Jones was a registered nurse specializing in oncology and cared for the sick for many years. She is survived by her husband, Charles “Buck” Jones; sons, Chris Jones and wife Tami, and Joshua Jones and wife Christina; stepdaughters, Ginger Davis, and Cheryl Roberson and husband Timothy; 4 sisters and 5 brothers; thirteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 21, at Cornerstone Church, 1250 Heritage Lake Boulevard in Knoxville, with a memorial service at noon. Burial will follow at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be made to Basswood Church, P.O. Box 52410, Knoxville, TN 37950.
