ANNA BANDY MIER age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Parkwest Hospital. She was an Army Veteran. Preceded in death by husband, Gordon and parents, Ross and Florence Bandy; brother, Ross Bandy, Jr., Survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Patty Mier and Chuck Mier; daughter, Darlene Evitt; grandchildren, Heather (Don)Maret, Chris (Mindy)Mier, Sarah (Jeff)Smith, Ashley Kiggans, Krystal (Mike)Tillman and Linda Harris; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Rose Kirby. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 8 pm. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Tuesday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 1 pm interment.
