TOWNSEND, ANNA LUCILLE (SNOOKS) – passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Parkwest Hospital with family by her side. Member of Marble City Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, C.M. Townsend; parents, Carl and Margie Wilkes; brothers, Charles and wife Ruby and Howard Wilkes, and Little Ralph, brother-in-law Ralph Webb. Survived by daughter, Brenda York and husband Melvin, son Calvin Baldwin (Janice), grandchildren Robbie York (Susan), Kevin Baldwin (Emma), four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, brother Tommy Wilkes (Janie), sister Betty Webb, and sister-in-law Marjorie Wilkes, several nieces and nephews, step-daughter Evelyn Goode (Ben), step-son-in-law Jim Grubb , and several step-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7 Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 7 pm. Rick Lemons officiating. Family and friends will meet 1: 45pm at Knott Cemetery for a 2 pm interment.
