Archie graduated from East High School in 1964 and from the University of Tennessee in 1968. He was employed at Sears for almost thirty years where he served as a Division Manager and then spent several years working at Home Depot before retiring. Archie made many precious friends at both Sears and Home Depot. He was a devoted member and deacon of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. Archie loved his church family and enjoyed working at the church tremendously. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and softball player and made many wonderful memories during his lifetime. Preceded in death by parents, Archie B., Sr, and Hallie Faye Culvahouse; in-laws, Samuel F. and Laurie Loposser; son, Archie B. (PJ) Culvahouse, III. Survived by, his beloved wife of 57 years, Charlotte Loposser Culvahouse; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Debbie Loposser; precious nieces, Paige (Steve) Miles and Mary Beth (Travis) Cover; great nieces, Lorelei and Violet Miles; aunt, Jo Galyon and his fur baby, Abbie; as well as many very special family and friends.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, between the hours of 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 with a Masonic Service to begin at 6:00 PM followed by a funeral service officiated by Rev. Jerry Crye and Rev. JR McMahan. Family and friends will meet Monday, March 23, 2026, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701 for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
