Archie Robert Robinson

ROBINSON, ARCHIE ROBERT – age 76 of Knoxville passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, August 4, 2014. Archie never met a stranger and was loved by all. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. Retired from the 134th Air Refueling Group and a veteran of Desert Storm. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert and mother, Ellen Robinson; father-in-law, Ralph Keith; sister, Merle Jinks. Survived by his wife, Betty; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Mike Brogdon; grandchildren, Abby, Colt, Josef, Amanda and Allie Brogdon; sisters, Earlene Hipsher and Jean Ward; mother-in-law, Gladys Keith; brother-in-law, Richard Jinks and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 3-4 pm Saturday at Valley View Baptist Church, 3521 Old Valley View Rd. Knox.,TN. Memorial Service to follow visitation. Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm on Monday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for a 1:30 interment.
