Arthur Darnell Edwards

He led a full life surrounded by a large family and many lifelong friends who loved and respected him.

His amazing career was in sales and marketing with RC Cola, and later Dinwiddie Distributing Company. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Betty Edwards, parents, siblings Beatrice Roberts and Bruce Edwards, and a grandson, Jason Edwards. He is survived by his brother, Dan Edwards, his children Kay McIntosh (Jim), Douglas Edwards (Debbie), Kenneth Edwards (Martha), Jerry Edwards (Diane), Kathy Edwards (Tony), eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Thanks to the kind folks at Maple Court, Smokey Mountain Hospice, and Miss Sadie. In lieu of flowers he would appreciate an act of kindness. The family will receive Friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Berry Funeral Home, at 3704 Chapman Hwy., in Knoxville. The funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the chapel with Chaplain A.D. Baxter officiating.
