Aubrey "Butch" Dennis Manis

Aubrey "Butch" Dennis Manis, age 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Butch spent over 40 years as a Brickmason after serving 4 years in the US Navy. After retirement he spent his time hiking in the Smokies completing over 500 miles over various trails. Butch's other loves included snow skiing, music, and spending time with friends. He was a lover of all animals, especially his cats. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He is preceded in death by mother Dorothy Henry. Butch is survived by his wife of 48 years Francie Folsom Manis; son Josh (Lacie) Manis; sister Janice (Greg) Suddarth; extended family and a large loving group of friends. The family welcomes friends to a Visitation on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Berry Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Appalachian Bear Rescue in Butch's name.
