Barbara Jean Burgin, age 89 of Knoxville, passed away October 9, 2023. She was a long time member of Gallaher Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Burgin; sister, Mildred Williams and son-in-law, Russell Summers.
Survived by children, Beverly Burgin, Pam Summers, Kay (James) Swanson; grandchildren, Caitlin (Clark) Gibson, Amanda Swanson and fiancé Bobby, Robby (Raychel) Swanson; great-grandchildren, Layla and Jameson; sister, Sue Ferguson and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Weaver’s Chapel Saturday 11:30 am – 1:30 pm with service to follow at 1:30. Pastor John Gallagher officiating. Family and friends will reconvene at Edgewood Cemetery at 2:45 pm Saturday for a 3:00 pm interment. Condolences are welcome at weaverfuneralservices.com
