Grandma was The Best, no other words can describe her. She and Roy welcomed Madison, Conner and myself into their family with open arms and was always there when I needed them. Our lives have forever been touched by her kindness. You will be missed Grandma.

Roy & Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I know Flossie, daddy, Aunt Maxine and all the family members that made heaven their home are celebrating together. The family has gained another beautiful angel.
The memories that touch my heart: Flossie was a beautiful lady and always had a beautiful smile. Whenever I saw you, Roy, Flossie was right by your side.
I know these past few days have been very difficult, I pray for God’s peace & comfort to be with you all today and the days to come.
Love you all, Carol & Family

I met Grandma through my niece, Shelley Ewing. She welcomed Shelley, Madison & Conner into her family with open arms, even though they weren’t blood related.
I appreciate the kindness she & Papaw conveyed to them throughout the years. She was the sweetest, soft spoken woman I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I only met her once but, I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door.
I’ve thought about Grandma so often. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul.
My wish would be that we all take a little bit of Grandmas kindness & love & spread it to everyone we come in contact with. You’ll be missed Grandma.
God Bless you Papaw, I know you’ll carry on with wonderful memories of your beautiful wife.

Since she became a grandma in 1991 she never missed a Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, or Thanksgiving without giving her grandchildren (and often their mothers) a treat bag of snack size candy bars. Sometimes it would come in a fancy with a pretty card inside, other times it'd be a handwritten note and a sandwich baggie but you could always count on one or the other. I snapped this picture of her doing just that a few years ago in Papows bedroom.
