Barbara Jean Joiner

Barbara Joiner age 83 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Monday, September 6, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She retired from Wal-Mart after 30 years. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Elmer and Bounita Lee; husband, Jay Joiner; brothers, Butch, Boyd and Ralph; sisters, Emma and Gert. She is survived by daughters, Missy (Dale) McMahan and Jackie (Ryne) Tinsley; 5 granddaughters, Kayla, Stephanie, Misty, Sutiea and Lexie; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Cathe) and Ray (Sue); sister, Ann. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thank you to nurse Tiffany and Chaplin, Brian from Avalon Hospice. Family will receive friends Thursday September 9, 2021 at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy from 5-7 p.m. Family and friends will meet Friday September 10, 2021 at Edgewood Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. Graveside service.
