Barbie Jean Waggoner

October 8, 1963March 24, 2020

Barbie Jean Cronas Waggoner, 56, was called home by God on March 24, 2020. She is the best and most loved Moma, wife, Nana, and sister. She was a loyal friend and source of limitless love and affection. Her joyful soul always filled family and friends with laughter, life, and light. She touched more lives than she realized. The world is poorer for Heaven’s gain. She is survived by her husband, Bernard Waggoner; her son, Thomas Waggoner, daughter-in-law, Tina, and granddaughter, Ada Faye; her daughter and best friend, Kristen Waggoner; and her brother, Carlos Cronas, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte Faye Lunsford Cronas and Carlos Cronas. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

I know you Miss this amazing woman so much! Some of the deepest belly laughs I ever had were with Barbie at work! She could take the craziest situation and find the humor in it! I loved her hugs and her big smile! My life was better blessed because she was in it. Until we meet again sweet friend!

What a good person Barbie was. She passes on her legacy through her children and family. What a great couple Barney and Barbie. Two great friends. I’m proud of what they accomplished in life. I wish I could say or do more to make the sorrow go away. The Waggoner family is in my prayers.

Barney, Thomas, and Kristen,
Always remember angels are always near to those who are grieving. They whisper to us that our loved ones are safe in the hand of God. When you speak of her (your wife/mom), try not to speak with tears, for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let all your memories of the times you have shared give you comfort, for her life was rich because of you all! Although we know that no words can really ease the loss you feel, please know that you are in ours and others thoughts and prayers!

Barbie was such an incredible spirit! I met Barbie when i was in 6th-8th grade at UGMS. she was always so kind, helpful, and uplifting to everyone around her. There was not a day that went by that Barbie wasn’t helping out countless teachers and students. She was the Lord’s servant and one that could never be forgotten! My condolences to the family. I’ll be praying for this and celebrating an incredible life she lived!

Barbie’s face could light up any situation. No matter how much work she had to do she always had time to stop and say hello. She will be missed!
