Beecher Edward Mayfield Jr.

Beecher E. Mayfield, Jr., 85, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 22, 2017. Beecher was a member of Center Faith Church. He loved his family and his church. His favorite pastimes were gardening, fishing and Tennessee sports. He was preceded by parents, Beecher Sr. and Minnie Mayfield; his first love and wife of 27 years, Bobbie Mayfield; three sisters, Betty, Barbara and Shirley; also preceded by second wife, Ruth Mayfield. He is survived by daughters and one son-in-law, Debbie Mayfield, Terri and Mark Chase; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Jill Mayfield; grandchildren, Nicki, Ashleigh, Crystal, Josh, Tobbie, Brenna, Alex, Kathleen and Christian; great-grandchildren, Branleigh, Caiden, Brookelyn, Jeauneaux, Bowie, Aria and Claire; also survived by stepchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren whom he loved as his own. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a service to follow at 7:00pm with Pastor Barry Mayfield officiating.
