Betty J. Abbott

Betty Jane Abbott, age 85, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 1, 2025. She was a long time employee of Krystal Corporation and retired from U.T. Medical Center. Betty was an avid reader and loved her family. She was preceded in death by parents, Winfred and Grace Ogle; loving husband, Bill Abbott; sisters, Shirley Ogle and Faye Ogle; brothers, Winfred Ogle Jr and Jerry Ogle.Betty is survived by daughters, Joan Franklin and Teresa Fleming; 4 grandchildren, Misty (JD) Shelton, Nikki (Brian) Cruze, Jennifer (Clinton) Sutton and Ryan Fleming and his partner Talyn; loving sister, Judy Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Jacob, Gracie, Bailey, Shelby, Ainsley, Forest, and Lillian; several nieces and nephews and family members. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 6--7 p.m. at Berry Highland South 9010 E. Simpson Road, service will follow at 7:00 p.m with Russell Ogle Jr officiating.
