Betty Jane Chandler

She lived her entire 92 years on her birthplace, in Solway. Jane was a simple, feisty, hardworking woman with a heart of gold and was precious to all that knew her. She cherished her family above everything.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband Amos Chandler and second husband Robert A. Heath.

She is survived by children Amos (Rhonda) Chandler and Shirley Harrison; grandchildren Scott (Vanessa) Chandler, Karen (Steve) Woods, Barbie (Michael) Beaver, and Sarah (Patrick) Molter; 5 great-grandchildren; stepchildren Glenda (Jim) Murrell and Robert A. Heath Jr. and special nieces Anna (Carson) Redwine and Debbie Frost.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Solway Memorial Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Glenda Houser at, 3517 Koon Lane, Knoxville, TN 37931.

The family welcomes friends to a Visitation on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Weaver Funeral Home from 12:30pm-2:30pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:30pm. Friends and family will meet at Oak Ridge Memorial Park on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 3:30pm for a Graveside Service.
