Betty Rose McCulley

Betty R. McCulley, age 92, of South Knoxville passed away under the care of Island Home and Caris Hospice. Betty graduated from Knoxville High School and the University of Tennessee, earning a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for Knoxville City Schools and upon retiring she enjoyed a life with her husband of traveling, playing golf, singing in the church choir and being with friends and family. She was a loving wife and mother.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Billy McCulley: parents, Jack and Rose Rhea and son, Hugh McCulley; brother Jack Rhea, Jr. Survivors include daughter, Lynn Zorn; grandchildren Christy, Kevin and David Zorn (Maria); great grandchildren Hugo and Isabel Zorn.

Friends may drop by Berry Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21 between the hours of 1-3pm to pay their respects. There will be a graveside service Friday, March 22 at 2pm Woodlawn Cemetery.
