Betty Jo Rudd

Betty Jo Rudd, age 77, a resident of Seymour, passed away peacefully at her home with her three daughters by her side on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was an active member of New Salem United Methodist Church. Betty, was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Rudd; parents, Garfield and Pearl Ogle; three sisters and two brothers. Survived by daughters, Teresa Ford and husband Rodney; Becky Gibson and husband Tim and Penny Atchley and husband Gary; grandchildren, Cory (Samantha) Gibson; Anna McCarter (Travis), Danielle Gibson, Lance Ford (Brittany) and Adam Atchley; ten great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Nora Rudd, Lillian Ogle; two sisters, Carol Ann Stinnett and Evelene Maples as well as numerous extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Berry Highland South Funeral Home on Simpson Rd., with the service to immediately follow at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor David Smith officiating.
