BETTY DYER WOMACK, beloved mother and grandmother, age 85 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a member of Second United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, John; father, Samuel Dyer; mother, Minnie Dyer Berg; brother, H.G. “Bud” Dyer; sisters, Mildred Anderson and Frances Coward. Survived by son, Leon Womack; daughter, Kathy Womack; grandchildren, Jesse Womack and Kelly Martin; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Liam and Haley; brothers, Sammy and Everette Dyer; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Swilley and RN, Lisa Hinchey for their years of care and Tennova Residential Hospice. The family will receive friends 12:30-2 pm Sunday at Weaver’s Chapel with a service to follow at 2 pm. Rev. M.C. Taylor officiating.
