Beulah Smith Mills

Mills, Beulah Smith, age 71, of Seymour and longtime resident of South Knoxville, passed away February 22, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a member of Seymour Christian Church and a former member of First Christian Church, Knoxville. Beulah was a graduate of Baptist School of Nursing and held a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee in Education. She worked at the University of Tennessee Hospital in the postpartum unit for over twenty years as a Registered Nurse. Beulah was a member of Nurses Association of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Morgan Mills and father, Ben Smith. Survivors: Sons and Daughters-in-law, Kevin and Melissa Mills and Steve and Patricia Mills; Grandchildren, Jennifer and Julia Mills, Sarah, Elizabeth, Kathryn, and David Mills; Mother, Beatrice Smith; Brothers, Fred, Bill and Ronald Smith; Sister, Mary Scalia. Family and friends will meet 10:00 AM Monday at Berry Funeral Home for a procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service, Rev. James Knowles officiating.
