Beverly Jean Ethridge

Beverly Jean Ethridge, age 76, of Oak Ridge, was welcomed into heaven on January 18, 2018. Beverly’s priorities in life were her brother Gary Lanning, her daughters, Denise (Monty) Fritts and Marcia Ann (Mark) Medley, her grandchildren, Monty (Beth), Justin (Nicole), Blake (Jenelle), Dylan, and Anna B, and her “babies” Morgan, Mason, Gavin, and Mattox. She was excitedly awaiting her next one due in March. She loved her co-workers and friends and considered them her family. Beverly worked up until her illness didn’t allow her to. She spent decades selflessly caring for others. She loved to cook and made sure her co-workers were well fed. She leaves behind all her work family at Ridgeview in Oak Ridge. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Granville & Eva Shoopman; her brother, Earl and her sisters, Katie, Loretta, and Joan. As a Christian she made sure her family knew she had accepted Christ as her Savior and she wanted others to make him their Savior too. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, www.tennesseechildren.org. Her family and friends will meet Sunday January 21st at 2pm at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville to celebrate all the things they love about Beverly. Celebration of life service to follow at 3pm.
