She was a Godly woman of faith and obedient in her walk of servanthood and dedication to her prayer-life and church family. Billie was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Sparks Jr; sisters, Wilma Meadows, Zona Reese and brother, R.V. Burkhart
Billie is survived by her daughter and best friend, Sherma Elliott, son-in-law, Butch Elliott and a host of family and friends.
Family and friends will meet Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 102 North Street #3 Lafollette, TN for an 11:00am Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Randy Singleton. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Boone, NC, 28607.
