BILLY “BILL” CHARLES PATE, age 75 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at his home. He was a member of Lonsdale Baptist Church, Commissioner of Badget Ball Field and owner of Quality Paving. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Alice; brother, Johnny Ray; sister, Mary Hunt; granddaughter, Mandy Starnes; father and mother-in-law, John R. and Addie Kennedy; brother-in-law, John Kennedy. Survived by wife, Cora Frances; children, Charles “Chuck” Pate, Kimberley (Gene) Stevens and Billy Joe Pate; grandchildren, Michelle (Kenneth) Knight, Lance (Angie) Pate, Daniel Bundren, Dustin Pate and Taylor Pate; 12 great-grandchildren.
