Sweet Sr., Billy A. age 70 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016. Mr. Sweet retired from the U.S. Navy in 1989 with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer after serving 21 years with a tour in Vietnam. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Billy is preceded in death by parents, Mack and Aria Lou Sweet and 8 siblings. Survivors include his wife Johnnie; children, Melissa Morgan, Billy Sweet Jr. and son-in-law, Tim Morgan; grandchildren, Candice Webb, Scott Morgan and Andrew Morgan; great grandchildren, Tyler Webb, Ethan Webb, Landon Webb, Ava Webb and Logan Webb; a host of extended family. Family will receive friends Thursday, June 30th from 5-7 pm at Berry Highland West on Sherrill Blvd. with funeral service directly following.
