Billy Welch

Welch, Bill 69 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord Friday, January 13, 2017 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. He was preceded in death by father, Ted Welch; brother, Ted Welch; sister, Judy Perry. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patty Welch; children, Kristi Haggard and fiancé David Nelson, Timmy (Diane) Welch, Melissa (Robert) Wells, Sandy (Steve) Hancock; 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; mother, Virgie Welch; brother, Lonnie (Jane) Welch; sister, Delores Maples; brother-in-law, Henry (Sharon) Hentzman; sister-in-law, Barbara Welch; a host of additional family and friends; beloved grandson, Jesse Brestel. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17th from 5-7pm at Berry Highland South with funeral service immediately following at 7pm. Entombment will be Wednesday, January 18th @ 11am at Berry Highland South, meeting at the graveside.
