Mr. Bobby E. Keck Sr., age 77 of Knoxville, TN peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Bobby grew up in Lafollette, TN and was a 1961 graduate of Lafollette High School. He worked for Chrysler Corporation in Dayton, Ohio and retired after 30 years. He is a member of the Chrysler Retirees Breakfast Club, a dedicated supporter of The Ministry to Israel, Nascar fan, four-leaf clover finder and avid coin collector. He was a talented candy maker and blessed many with his famous Peanut Butter Fudge. He was our father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor but most of all, he was our friend, greeting him often with a simple "Hey Bob!" He made us laugh and he made us fudge. He cherished us all and let us know in his own special way. Not always in words, more often with actions. he liked passing out candy canes at Christmas, with that big excited grin on his face, to everyone he met. He was our family historian, consistently, respectfully and diligently reminding us of our past and keeping track of our future. It was for all of us that he fought with everything in him to remain here with us. We all agree that he left us before we were ready and he will forever be in our hearts. Bob was a wonderful man who always wore a smile on his face. He was one who would always make everyone feel like they were accepted and at home when he was around. He was a great storyteller who was so proud of his family and those who came before him. He'd dig in and find out things about the ones who had gone on before and they became real through his remembrance of them. Bob was always happiest when his family and friends were surrounding him, he would smile and interact with everyone. The things I can say about Bob is that he was kind, generous, loving, accepting and always brightened a room when he walked in. I loved the way he also knew all of the neighborhood dogs from his walks! He took treats and even made friends with them! He didn't know a stranger and he was loved by everyone. He will be missed by so many, and was deeply loved by us. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Evelyn V. Keck and Lunas E. Keck and his sister Betty Baker. Bobby is survived by his children Bobby E. Keck Jr. of Kingston, TN and Pamela D. (Keck) Buhl, son in law, Luis Buhl and grandsons, Chandler L. Buhl and Colin E. Buhl of Knoxville, TN, sister, June Woolum, brother in law William Woolum of Dayton OH, sister Janice Ayers, brother in law, Roger Ayers of Lafollette, TN and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 0n Wednesday, September 23rd from 1:00 to 2:45 pm followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm.
