Brenda Faye (Houser) Allison, 74 of South Knoxville, peacefully departed Wednesday April 21, 2021. Faye was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by father, Cowan Houser; brother, Terry Houser. Faye is survived by husband, Hugh Allison I, They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 23, 2021, mother, Georgia Houser; brother, David (Vicki) Houser; children, Kelley (Rusty) Hunt, Delana (Scott) Swafford, Hugh (Michelle) Allison II; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several special brothers & sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday April 25, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Danny Neal and Lloyd Allison officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday April 26, 2021 at Seven Islands Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. Interment.
