Brenda Herrell Harrell

Brenda Herrell Harrell, 73, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born August 19, 1952, Brenda will be remembered with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda devoted 33 years of faithful service to Knox County Schools before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of steady commitment and care. Her life was also rooted in her church family as a member of Inskip Baptist Church, where her quiet devotion and enduring presence meant much to those around her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Doshia Herrell; and her brothers, Glenn (Stephanie) Herrell and Ray (Janice) Herrell. She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Kevin) McDonald; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A receiving of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 10-12 noon at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow. Rev. Mike Segers will officiate. Brenda will be laid to rest at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 1pm.
