Brenda Bernice Sims

Brenda Bernice Sims, age 78 of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She loved the outdoors, traveling and had a passion for antiques. Brenda and her granddaughter, Kendra never missed an episode of Jeopardy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ford Brackett; mother, Bernice Brackett; son, Jeff Sims; daughter, Shannon Ryan and grandson, Derrick Foley.

Brenda is survived by daughter, Sandie Sims Tanner (Terry); son, Randy Sims; special loving and caring granddaughter, Kendra Sims; sisters, Karen Walker (Noah), Lisa Gasche;

grandchildren, Roby Hamilton, Suntanna Sims, Katie Tanner, Christopher Richards, Christina Richards; aunt, Marie Hayes and a large number of great-grandchildren.

In honor of her wishes, a private graveside service for the family will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
